About half of the United States population is being moved towards violence or aggravated activism over the “truth” that the mainstream media keeps telling them.

Even very normal, Christian men and women are angered by the reports they are getting from all kinds of supposedly “independent” sources. Which is due to the lack of discernment that Christians often refuse to apply to their selection of the news.

They tend to consume it pretty much as the popular culture does.

Which is 95% Left and progressively biased. Which isn’t really debatable. They don’t even pretend to be otherwise anymore. 

What we are witnessing is a tutorial on how to manipulate the public mind through a massive dump of opinions masquerading as journalism. By overwhelming people with supposedly objective facts. 

Again, as I’ve said in previous posts, if 95 out of 100 sources tell you something is true, then most people lazily assume the truthfulness of those reports. Because modern people love numbers. They love the majority. They do not want to be in a fringe group.

Nor to ever appear to be in some fringe group. 

So, they choose to trust the mainstream sources.

And, as far as most people go, they generally don’t want their beliefs to cost them anything in their friendships, families, jobs, associations, or fellowships. As with their local church or school or job.

Everyone wants to be accepted and to get along. 

And that is the problem.

Because truth is not based on any of those things.

Truth is not determined by our feelings. Nor our philosophies.

And, to the point, not a single one of us is smart enough to guarantee that we won’t be deceived or manipulated.

Not a single one of us.

Beyond Intelligence 

Our perception of the world and cultural events is not based upon our intelligence. 

Although many highly-educated people like to pretend otherwise. Especially, since they love to claim that those of us who have a Conservative or Fundamental-Christian view are less educated, less informed, biased, bigoted, or worse.

That is their fallback position on most everything. That we just haven’t read this article or that report. That we haven’t compared the 100 sources and reports that they have.

Ever list, every bullet point, every footnote, every source, etc. 

Or that we just don’t think deeply or care deeply enough about things. That we don’t really care about people.

That we just don’t care like they do.

The mainstream media has been carefully crafting this narrative that they are the unbiased journalists. That they have done the research. That they know the real truth.

And that to reject them is to reject what is true, just, and right.

Humanism is not God

OK. You’ve heard a lot of this from me before. And I apologize for that.

To some extent. 

But here’s the thing. How do we have a country if we cannot have differing opinions and express those opinions without fear of physical or civil threats?

Has the Left now reached the point where they want to shut down all dissenting views? Are they that insecure about their beliefs?

How do we elect different people with different philosophies if we cannot agree that the Constitution, not popular Humanism, is to be the guiding principle? 

The sad fact is that Socialists want this country in chaos. And many very sincere young people believe that switching this country over to a Socialist way will be good and right. That it will allow for true economic fairness. 

That it will force those who have a lot of money or property to give up a good portion of what they own for the benefit of others. For “the good of the many”.

Determined by the few.

Private money and property to be Redistributed by the good, benevolent, intelligent, wise, fair State.

To accomplish this, many Progressives have determined that the path to utopia is to sow the seeds of chaos across the country. Even if it brings about the destruction of the Traditional values of this nation and the essential Judeo-Christian foundation of the Constitution. 

(Note that I am not promoting the establishment of some kind of Christian Theocracy or Christian-Nationalist regime. I did not say that.) 

Preparing the Way for the gods of Chaos 

The bottom line is that what so many want today is the destruction of one thing so they can rebuild another. To tear down one thing so that they can create something new. 

AS IF, these people are actually even smart enough or wise enough or good enough to do such a thing! Seriously. 

What lies beneath a lot of what is being done in the mainstream is a deep hatred for anything Traditional or Christian. 

And not even just what is biblically Christian, but much of what is very nominally, popularly “Christian”. 

And we’re not simply talking about observing this holiday or that. Giving gifts at Christmas, coloring eggs at Easter, or some other practice that most people do regardless of their beliefs.

No, what this is really about is the Destruction of biblical Christianity. And of the Gospel of Christ.

This is not hatred against the gospel as Progressives and spiritual Liberals teach it, but the biblical gospel based on the inerrant, verbally inspired word of God. 

The real rage and hate are focused on Christ Himself and His word. 

A word that tells them what morality truly is, what gender really means, what sexuality truly is, what men need to truly believe. And the desperate need for every man and woman to repent of their sins and to trust Christ alone, by faith alone. 

The Next Stage of an Ancient Battle 

So, what we are really witnessing is the world ramping up its hatred against Christ and against His word. Ascending to the next level in the long, ancient war against Christ.

And the renewed attempts to silence any of that Old way, the Old Path, and the Old Gospel that convicts them of sin and of judgment. 

That is what this is really all about. To silence all warnings of coming judgment. 

Men have never wanted to hear that. Never. 

So, lost men and women rage against the light of Christ. Even against the more softened and watered-down versions of the gospel that are out there. Even the more popular Evangelical stuff is too much for them to take. 

This is not simply about their hatred of hypocritical, intolerant Christians. Of Christians who don’t meet their standards. Or Christians who aren’t as good and moral as the Lord. 

And, by the way, none of us are. We all fall short of what we should be. 

Even as They Fall Short.  

No. They want a new world. Not the old one. And they want new “gods”. Not the old Holy Lamb of God. 

And all who will not openly comply “with them” they will consider to be against them.

Either comply or …… Fill in the Blank. 

Same old. Same old.
