Eternal Approach

The path that A.I. will take is inevitable.

Because A.I. will never be any better than the men who have programmed it.

It will reflect and carry out those directives that have been locked within it.

By men.

Making decisions based upon the priorities that the programmers have selected.

Changing our lives based upon the beliefs of those who have the power to direct the course A.I. will take.

One’s Vision of the World

We may all marvel at the potential that A.I. has to make our lives better. 

Which is a perfectly natural way to think. 

But, in truth, A.I. is simply a very sophisticated computer program. It does what it is programmed to do. Making “choices” based on the guides that have been built into it. 

A.I. is not a life form. Nor can it ever be a life form. 

God alone creates life. 

But, if a programmer has a view of the world as he thinks it should be, he or she can program the specific parameters that an A.I. must follow to bring about that vision of the world. 

For example, if someone is a Progressive, then his view of some Utopian society will shape the parameters he will build into the program. And what values the A.I. must implementing. 

A Choice of Values

It is critical that we understand this about all systems that are in place today. 

Whether they are government policies, court rulings, political movements, or cultural fads, all these things shape our lives. And often lead us into places where we have no control. Or, at least, where we have very little choice but to comply or face the consequences of breaking the “law”. 

Increasingly, that is where the Progressive culture is leading us. 

To a place where we have less and less freedom to exercise our beliefs and convictions; even to exercise religious convictions in this land which started out promising us “freedom of religion” and freedom of expression in the public arena.  

And as Progressives take greater control of the reins of power, they will not hesitate to implement policies that force us down whatever rabbit hole they desire. Herding us into compliance with their Utopian fever dreams.

The Logical Consequence

So, as A.I. is used to assist in this process, what do we think is going to happen?

The process of herding will become more effective and efficient. Automizing the process of controlling our society.

So, why should we think that it will be different than that? 

What cause do Christians have for believing that a lost culture will not use its power and technology to control, marginalize, and even eliminate those whose beliefs are contrary to theirs? 

A.I. is the perfect tool to accomplish their purposes. A tool without emotion or compassion or tolerance. 

It’s all just a simple matter of logic. 

The Default Prime Directive

A.I. is simply given a Prime Directive to follow.   

And if those who believe the Bible to be the absolute authority will do or say anything that goes against the Progressive Prime Directives, what do we really think will happen?

We have always assumed that “no harm to humans” will be the default Prime Directive of A.I. As in the movie, “I, Robot“, or as with Robby the Robot in “Forbidden Planet“. 

It’s an interesting and romantic notion. 

But why should we believe A.I. will be programmed to do that?

Why do we persist in believing that Progressives will be fair and tolerant in their programming? 

What have they shown so far in their legislations and media attacks against those who oppose their philosophies and cultural mandates? 

And when they see that their Progressive vision is threatened by Christians or Conservatives, will they work to protect the liberties or even the lives of those that oppose that vision?

A.I. will implement whatever they are told to implement. And they will do so without regret or compassion. They will do whatever those in places of power have been allowed to set in motion. 

According to their own logical preferences and their own spiritual beliefs.

“Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.” (Ecclesiastes 7:29)
