Eternal Approach

I was watching a YouTube video the other day about ET spacecraft technology. It was very compelling. The gist of it was that man has been using technology supplied by “aliens” for quite some time.

This has been something I’ve followed for many years. Namely, the idea that man has been visited by benevolent “space brothers” who are trying to help man. To bring man back from the brink of his own destruction. From all his messing around with nuclear weapons and environmental pollution.

Kind of like the movie, The Day the Earth Stood Still. The black and white 50’s version.

Where we are welcomed into the great league of galaxies to join our “brothers” in the stars.

The Religion of Our Age

Whether or not someone believes this stuff is of secondary importance.

What is undeniable is the fact that men today are totally enamored with the hope in a kind of scientific utopia. As if the knowledge that men have, and the logic that they apply to the natural world, will save them. Both physically and spiritually.

This is the great religion of our age.

Increasingly, men believe that they are not bound to this earth. And that science proves that the Bible is false. And, therefore, man is free from any accountability to a Creator.

This is the great, unspoken doctrine of this modern religion. That man is his own god. And that he needs no other “God” to achieve his greatest dreams, hopes, and eternal peace.

But, interestingly enough, Satan has been working behind the scenes for millenia to lead men down this false path. To “blind” man with science. To dazzle him with a hope in the infinite possibilities of his own potential.

And to lead man away from Christ to their eternal destruction.

Fallen Angels & Ancient Technology

We tend to think of angels as purely spiritual beings. We often fail to see that they can take physical form. And that they are capable of producing physical manifestations.

Not everything they do is simply of a visual nature. They can actually interact with the physical world.

The bottom line is whether they are doing this according to God’s will or their own.

There are countless videos, movies, and websites dealing with the concept of ancient alien technology. Archaeology has uncovered many strange and unexplainable artifacts that supposedly “primitive” men were able to develop.

Many of those “feats of engineering” were accomplished out of “thin air”. Without any identifiable, previous development leading to the technologies discovered. They appear as technologies “not of this world”.

Dazzled by Science

It is very likely that these ancient civilizations were dazzled by these wonders.

Biblically, it is very possible that these ancient “aliens” were fallen angels. Not good angels in fellowship with the Lord of Creation. But evil angels, under the ultimate authority of Satan.

Through the wonders these angels were able to perform, they seduced these ancient civilizations into worshipping them.

Some even becoming ancient kings. And their progeny, the Nephilim (a topic for another host of posts) also becoming the great men of renown. The same ones spoken of in Genesis Chapter 6. Even becoming the “gods” and creatures that so many ancient mythologies speak of.

While the world that then existed was seduced by the “technology” as well as the size, beauty, and power of these fallen angels and their offspring.

The Church of Science

Modern man is no different than those “primitive” people that he so likes to denigrate.

He is just as easily swayed by the wonders of the fallen angelic realm. But he is probably less able to identify what he is really dealing with than those early people were. Because they, at least, were closer to the earth. More “grounded”, as it were, to the realities of life by their toils with agriculture and harsh daily living. Which lacked most all of the comforts we take for granted today.

Modern man is simply more sophisticated in his worship of “science”. Elevating his own intellect to the level of godhood. Believing that man exists and that nature exists.

And that life is simply living smart; as opposed to living right.

Or opposed to living in right fellowship with God.

Modern man rejects Christ for a version of the world that flatters his own ego. A world philosophy that gives him an excuse for his behavior. Whatever perverted behavior that may be.

Modern men live at all levels of this worship. Some dabble in spiritual ideas; some don’t.

Some believe that all men seek God in their own way. Some believe that all paths lead to God.

Some believe that they are God.

Most modern men clearly reject the revealed truth that Jesus Christ is the only way to God. That He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

The religion of this age is to follow popular scientific consensus, the pursuit of knowledge, and a universalist concept of God.

This is the path that was created long ago by Satan and his fallen angels. It is the same path that is being re-packaged for the unbelieving world of today. And for those foolish churches that will not stand upon truth.

This modern path is just more flashy, more sophisticated, more technologically savvy, and more universally appealing to the spiritual mind of this age.

“O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.” (II Timothy 6:20,21)
